Meetups

Mad Meetup Monday We hold an online meetup on the second Monday of each month, from 18:00 to 19:30, where you can join others for conversation and collaboration. Each meetup will start with a question prompt to get the chat started. Mad Meetup Monday will take place on the following dates:

  • 13 July

*in June our Mad Meetup Monday will take place, madly, on a Tuesday! Due to a scheduling clash, we must move our online meetup to Tuesday 9 June. Please get in touch with us to receive the zoom link.

Edinburgh meetup We also hold an in-person meetup in Edinburgh every month on a Tuesday evening. Our next in person meetup will take place on Tuesday 23 June from 6pm to 8pm in the back room at the Regent Bar on Montrose Terrace in Abbeyhill.

Events

Understanding the International Mad Movements – with Matthew Jackman Join us for an online presentation and conversation with mad activist Matthew Jackman, who will be sharing some of the learning from his PhD project which is mapping the mad movement around the world. Matthew brings a buoyant enthusiasm to his topic and it is always a pleasure to hear his extensive knowledge about the mad movement and the many projects and groups that exist around the globe. Workshops

We offer a number of creative workshops with a mad twist. Keep an eye on our events page or get in touch to arrange directly for a gathering with your friends, your family or your colleagues. It’s an ideal way to learn about mad pride and the mad voice whilst expressing yourself creatively.

Book Group

Our book group meets online every other month on a Wednesday evening from 7pm to 9pm (UK.)
